When coming to class and hearing about what all we had to do I started getting pretty excited. My favorite part was the blogging. I have a bucket list and starting a blog was on it. So this will give me practice for the real real deal. Anyways since I the type of person who constantly has thought going through her head it is a great way for me to direct those thoughts. Based on the discussion about rhetoric this past Tuesday, I know there will be a good amount of topics for me to elaborate on and talk about. This will be a great semester!
*A little about me*
I am a junior, finance major, from Chicago. Life for me is far from simple. All in a good way! I am constantly doing something. Busy...busy...busy. I love being outside, art, cooking, sleeping, road trips, and the list goes on.
You say that the start of the semester is bittersweet, but I disagree. Giving up sleep is completely worth getting to see everyone, football games, intramurals, going to the lake, and being able to have our own schedule, for the most part. I am excited about this year; it is my senior year and I am going to enjoy every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty upset with the summer ending and giving up my freedom seven days a week. Yes, i would love to have a great productive semester, but "exciting" when it comes to classes seems to be too strong of a word. I would probably use a word like "interesting", because i think that's what this class will be.
ReplyDeleteAlso, i recently changed my major to finance, because of my interest in stocks trading. I was wondering how you like it and your general experience on how your classes relate to my interest?
I was glad to be back at school with everyone. I've been up here all summer working and there hasn't been to many of my friends up here. Also, I am ready to graduate after this year and start my career. I really do think that I am going to like working everyday rather than going to school. I can't wait to make money.
ReplyDeleteI had a great summer, but I was ready to get back up to school. I have so much fun with my friends at home, but being back at Clemson is just so exciting. The start of this year is slightly bittersweet though since I'm a senior this year, and will be graduating in May. These past years have gone by so fast, and I envy you for only being a junior! If I'm going to be honest, I wasn't very excited about writing this blog, but like you I am constantly thinking about things, so maybe this will be a good way to get those thoughts out there, and hopefully we'll have plenty of opportunities to talk about interesting subjects.
ReplyDeleteI know what everyone means about being back up here as bittersweet! Knowing I'm graduating and being thrown into the real world of working 9-5 is mostly a terrifying thought. Summertime is filled with beach days and nights and a silly summer job scooping ice cream or babysitting. The phrase "summertime and the livin's easy" is true for me. The sweet part of the bittersweet-ness of being back at school is seeing all of my friends. Football is FOUR DAYS AWAY! If that doesn't make someone excited to get back up to Clemson, I'm not sure what would.
ReplyDeleteGirl, I understand the start of a new semester being bittersweet! I feel like summer didn't really even last long. I worked at a summer camp as the head girls counselor from May 16-Aug 18! So, I really didn't get a break! But, I do enjoy being around friends again! And, it is awesome that you are knocking something off your bucket list!
